Airworthiness Certification Rates

Precision Windsports is authorized to issue airworthiness certificates to both experimental and special weight-shift control light sport aircraft.  Our rates are reflected below.  If you have any questions please contact us at info@precisionwindsports.com.  We look forward to hearing from you.

E-LSA Inspections:$375 for inspections here in Lynchburg. 

For inspections on the road $475 plus:

Travel89¢/mile or airfare as appropriate
Travel Time$200/day for each day of travel (see definition of "travel day" at the bottom of this page)
Travel ExpensesLodging as required and per diem ($50/day) and any other expenses incurred in support of the inspection.
S-LSA Inspections:$450 for inspections here in Lynchburg. 

For inspections on the road $550 plus (see travel table above).

Group Inspections:Call.  We will work with you to make group inspections an attractive deal for all concerned.  You can reach us at 434-851-6804.

*A "travel day" is defined as a day solely consumed by travel.  So if your inspection required a total of two days your cost (excluding travel expenses) would be $600 ($400 for the day the inspection took place and $200 for the extra day of travel required).
