Precision Windsports' primary instructor, Terri Sipantzi, was among the first in the country certified as a Sport Pilot Flight Instructor (SP-CFI) and reported as such by Aero News Network below.  He is also a Sport Pilot Examiner (gives the final flight test and issues the Sport Pilot Certificate). This means Precision Windsports is one of the very few companies qualified to address Sport Pilot transition challenges and train to Sport Pilot standards.

On October 14, 2005 Precision Windsports' primary trainer, a brand new XT S-912 became N912XT -- AirBorne's first LSA!  Now Precision Windsports is fully qualified to bring you into the Sport Pilot world.
Terri is now an FAA Designated Pilot Examiner and Instructor Examiner (as of July 07 and July 08 respectively).

ANN asked Ballantyne about the new test for which he responded, “The test is not overly complicated for those who are requesting passenger-carrying privileges over American cities. ‘The Practical Test Standards are very clear, and may be obtained by anyone at the internet address, http://afs600.faa.gov/AFS610.htm. ‘It was a privilege to have Mr. Sipantzi as the first test applicant. ‘He was delightful to fly with,” said DPE Ballantyne.
