| Bedford Welcome Center | This is Bedford County's Welcome page with all kinds of information on things to do and see here. One of the most moving "must see" places is the National D-Day Memorial. The town of Bedford lost more soldiers on D-Day for its size than any other town in the country. This memorial is a powerful tribute to that heroic generation. |
| Blue Ridge Parkway | Lynchburg lies at the base of the Blue Ridge mountains and provides easy access to the famous Blue Ridge Parkway. Weather permitting, flying above the Blue Ridge Parkway is a feast for the eyes. Driving it is also very rewarding. |
| Natural Bridge | Follow this link to Virginia's Natural Bridge. It is fun to fly over it but this is one of God's wonders that are best appreciated from afoot. |
| Smith Mountain Lake | Smith Mountain Lake is an easy flight or drive from Lynchburg and is one of our favorite places. Boats are easily rented and there is a lot to do and see there -- especially from the air or the water. |
